Economic and Political Headline
•    Inflation drastically fell to a two-decade low of 0.44% in the first week of March as food and fuel items turned cheaper. (BS)
•    The US auto suppliers will get as much as USD 5 bn in the US Treasury aid to avoid a collapse that would cripple the domestic industry, including federally funded General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC. (Bloomberg)
•    Britain had a USD 12.8 bn budget deficit in February, the largest for the month since 1993, as the recession slashed tax receipts and the highest unemployment in a decade drove up spending. (Bloomberg)
