Let’s face it, you either need bag full of cash, or be a smart investor to make money, not just from the market, but this rule applies pretty much in every aspect of your life.

Recently, one of the regular readers did incur a loss (so did I), from one of the scrips I mentioned a while ago.

This one got me thinking, I was wondering if my readers are taking me for granted? Are they just investing in what I advice them to or do they do any further background check?

Even though, I put in a lot of effort every single day to call out scrips that (I wish) make profit, it’s not a success always. As all of us are familiar with the unpredictable nature of the market, we can’t / it’s not possible to make perfect calls always.

So what do you need to do to get the maximum from your investments?

Firstly, don’t be a blind investor, when I call for a scrip, almost always, they’ll be good ones coz I’ll be putting my money in them, but if you have time in hand, go out and explore if there are better scrips. There certainly will be.

Do not invest in haste, sit, take time, plan, prioritize and then invest. Have pre-concluded plans on what you’ll do if the stocks rise your way or fall the other way down. Act accordingly.

Last bit of advice, do not invest your life savings while betting on day trading. That’s the worst you can ever do. Invest cash that is of negligible importance to you, in case if you face a failure it shouldn’t hinder your lifestyle.

Learn and enjoy the game. Learn to play by rules. Initially it’ll seem a bit tough, but soon you’ll realize that the time spent is well worth.
